Recovery

Hello everyone,

I know you all know that I went in for surgery on the 18th of this month, I told you all that I would have update you on the status of my recovery how the surgery went.  The surgery was done differently than normal as I've said I've had this done on two other occasions prior to this one.  In the prior two surgeries they gave me a full in anesthetic so I do remember me anything from the surgery.  This time however I had a local anesthetic.  This was a very weird feeling for me, I felt like they were doing the surgery with my arm 90° is straight up in the air.  Very odd sensation to say the very least.

As they were releasing me from the hospital after surgery, nurse hands me my discharge papers and tells me don't drive a any heavy equipment today, don't make any legal decisions, and don't sign any documentation today.  While that was all well and good, up until she hands me my discharge papers, well if you all don't know the process the gain prescriptions filled them let me tell you I walked out of that hospital and disobeyed her orders to not signed any paperwork.  As to fill a prescription you have to sign for it.  Seems a little off the wall to me!  Why tell a person not to sign any paperwork them something they have to sign a for.  Sometimes I wonder if people use their heads for more than hat racks.  Well other than that my recovery is doing well at least so it seems I have a follow-up appointment on the third of next month so I will know more than.

I have to say that windows vista has a far better easier to use voice recognition system then the previous nosed operating systems.  Actually start using it more and after I fully recovered.  I have to worry about spelling at least not too much anyway, and it saves my fingers.

Another note:

I am going to be starting a new business, I'm going to become independent avon representative.  I've noticed a steady decline in the security of the SSI system.  I have also knows that the section eight Housing System is in danger, they're having financial difficulties and if for some reason they have to close the program.  I realize with the Housing Systems problems that their having that they have to end the program, my apartment will be in very real trouble.  All on SSI I receive less than $700 a month to live on my rents is $550.  You can see where the problem is.  I want to be prepared. i want to be ready in case, what I see as being writing on the wall happens.

Another Day in the Life of Me

Well I'm at home today when I should be in church, I didn't get more than like 2-3 hours of sleep last night and well when my alarms went off I was so tired all I wanted to do was go to sleep so I did just that. I'm still running on less than what my body really is able to function on. My body needs 9-10 hours of sleep minimum to be at my best. But currently I'm running on about 5-6ish. I just know that I wasn't able to go to church today do to how tired I was I would have Fallen alseep during one of the meetings for sure. Probably the most important of them, Sacrement. So I'm sitting here Listening to Mormon Channel. So I get some Good Churchy stuff in today. Well I would not excuse the fact that I'm not at church today however I do know that in the scriptures I am justified in getting the amount of sleep I needed to get even if my body didn't want to get it when I wanted and thought it should have gotten it.

So for those who would like to argue that I would like to quote

D&C 88:124-125

Cease to be idle: cease to be unclean: cease to sleep longer than is needful: retire to thy bed early: arise early, that ye may not be weary: arise early, that your bodies and your minds may be invigorated.

Well you may say retire to bed early well is that early Morning or early afternoon or early evening or early Night and same with when to get up. I was in bed at the point of Early Night and well some nights a persons body just doesn't want to be on that persons ideal schedual for whatever reasons. I do however have the fact that I have Sleep Disorders that help to explain it. My Brain and body wanted to sleep about Early Morning like 7:30 am or 8. Well that is all justified according to scriptures so don't go all old testiment on me please.

I've been absent from my Blogging do to doing Music recording with the computer. I was so focused on that, that I became so totally absent from World of Warcraft and from talking on the IM's and even Email. Well the Project that I endevored to undertake has come to a end for the moment.  Which I can say is a good thing for the ability to focus and live my life.

I also had occation to get another set of Scripture covers Created. I had purchased some fabric that is also found on my Wiccan Cloak. I felt that was only appropriate as I found my Faith in Wicca and was truely Spiritually reborn in that period of time where I was only Wiccan. Well now I have found Faith in the Church that I was Most effectively baptised into.  Here are pictures of my Scripture covers the outside fabric is what the cloak is made with as well.

Well as you can see I need a New hymnal as this one on the right is falling apart the inside fabric is accually very sparkley. As I said the outside material is of that same kinda as my cloak.

I also had occation to fix my Sand picture that I purchased from a local thrift store. It is simply wonderful. if you ask me.

If you ask me it is a very big difference. I found a wonderful lady named Moe on Ebay that was willing to help me figure out how to fix it. Since she was so wonderful I'm going to be purchasing one that she creates from her Ebay shop.

My boyfriend now wants one as well so we will be purchasing all together 2 of them from her. She was very patient and without her I couldn't have figured out how to fix this old beauty.

I think I'm going to be going back to using internet explorer do to Google Crome doesn't work with the the Mormon channel as the church didn't program the player to work with google crome. I also have found that Crome wont let me Right click to print a page and even worse it makes me waste ink as it wont let me print the selected text. I also have found that crome doesn't save bookmark changes to the Favorites folder so thus it is much harder to back up my bookmarks. I'm finding it would be wonderful like most of Googles other services if it accually worked like a normal browser. I hope this is something that they will fix in the future to come as I really liked it otherwise. 

 Well I will try and get a few more blogs into this Blog by the time I'm unable to type do to having had my surgery on the 18th however that may be challenging as I have a busy week planned my best friend and her boyfriend are comming over from almost 100 miles away on Tuesday, I'm having Comcast come and change my phone number back from when I changed to Vonage (That is a bad Dishonest company that is nothing but a scam. They change the terms of contract on you without notice and they don't stay low priced for long they have un notified price increases.

This is how my bill from them looks a bit different than 24.99 plus applicable taxes if you ask me.

Well on top of that I also have to pay a 29.99 dollar disconnect fee as well as any rebates that where given have to be reimbursed. Which within a year they changed the terms of contract.

So to leave them it will cost me 140.00

What is a rebate recovery fee?

This is the part that has changed in other words the dates are what changed

This part isn't what changed.
If you cancel your service within one year after your money back guarantee period, Vonage charges rebate recovery fee equal to the amount of any rebate initially given for a device.

 

So I'm changing over from vonage my phone number that I have with vonage that originally came from Comcast back to Comcast on Monday. Then I also have my housing inspection on Tuesday morning also. Then the Surgery on the 18th so it is a busy week to say the least. I will try to write again a few times but I can't garentee it.

Well I will talk to you all later. I will have my boyfriend do a bit of Blogging for you all at the least so you know how my surgery goes.

Ocean Side Meditation

I find myself walking with a purpose to the Sands by the ocean. I love to see the ocean waves, Love to hear the sounds of the surf coming in and going out. I have such a need for the ocean right now that I find myself ingoring every living person along my way to the Beach. As I walk I see many of the normal birds of the sea like Seagulls and Pelicans plying in the sky. I hear the sounds of the songs of each bird and it just makes me all the more anxious to get to the Beach now so I start Running even though there is less than 2 blocks to go now. I had set out early in the day so the sun is just starting to dawn the horizon what a lovely sunrise on the eastern horizon. Lots of lovely shades of reds and purples and Oranges. I think there is a lot of Golds and yellows as well just around the sun. 

 I finally make it to the beach. Where I stop to catch my breath from my morning jog. I finally stand up from my bent over position to find that the beach is even more lovely than I had ever Seen it in my waking life. This ocean Rolls In and out just as the most steady rythmic heart beat. I walk down to the very edge of the water and find that my shoes magickally disappear off my feet,This is wonderful as I don't want to have to carry them. 

I start a very slow canter across the beach that goes for mile and miles. This beach seems to never have an ending in sight. I feel as if I could walk around the whole world on this streach of beach alone. Making me think back to what was said by bilbo The road that leads you away from your door will always lead you home again. How right Bilbo was but as that road leads you away from your door it too will lead you to the most beautiful places in the Universe like this beach. 

I stop for a moment to listen to the Seagulls sing there ever so wonderful song, Caw.. Caw..... CAW..Caw. Caw. Caw.... Just then as I was stairing off into the vast distance above the water i caught the sight of a bird doing its spiraling dive into the water to get it's breakfest. This is a really amazingly big bird it is so far out there that it appears to be small. I decided to keep my eyes out for Sea shells as I have a passion for anything that is from the sea. As that decision is made

 I started to slowly walk again as I don't want to miss any of the sights or sounds that come from my favorite place of all time. This beach however I'm noticing it totally devoid of all Litter and Polution that you would find in the waking worlds ocean beaches. This is so refreshing to find. I love the purity of the Salty Air this is a wonderfully refreshing invigorating smell. I can smell the lack of Polution here in this ocean. 

As I look down i find a Seashell that is beautiful yellow almost Golden in color. This looks to me like a Scallop shell but I have never seen on such a wonderful shade of Golden Yellow before. I also find that there is a Velvet bag with sea shells in the cloth that magickally apeared as I picked up this shell. I decided that maybe this was a hint that i could collect these wonderful memories and put them in this bag. This Velvet bag is the most wonderful shade of Auqa Blue/Green color. I love the vividly colorful Seashells on this cloth. Reminds me of this Amazingly colorful seashell i have just found. To my amazment the Seashells on the outside of this bag are moving out will pop this little crature and walk a little bit then spring into the shell again. Wonderfully animated. I decide to keep walking frequently smelling the ocean air. This is where my heart truly lives there is nothing more peaceful than the ocean for me. 

I stop to watch the last of the sun rise now. All the wonderful colors are disappearing as they make way for the Amazingly warm sun. This sun just warms my cool body to the core of My being as it comes into full clairity I am going to fully enjoy the hole day out here. 

I look up the beach only to see some ways in the distance someone Jogging down the beach listening to music in there headphones. What an amazing thing it would be to Jog down the beach so exillerating I think to myself so I decide to jog for just a little bit as I don't what to miss to much by moving to quickly I didn't come here to be in a hurry but that looks like fun. Then with a burst of speed I take off....... OH how Free I feel I'm not even getting winded I think I could do this for hours. However after Jogging a ways done the beach I came to a Drift wood tree log the Roots sticking up in the air just in the most perfect way to make a back rest. I decided to sit down and rest my body while just watching the sea and smelling the air while listening to the sounds of the Sea life around me. I feel so comfortable on this old hard log all the world is right at this very moment all the world is in perfect Peace and Harmony. I watch the Seagulls circleing around over head for who knows how long. OH how I love the smell of the ocean air. This is defently what my soul needs.

 Just then a Seashell washes up on the beach. This shell I'm noticing is very much alive as it sticks out it's little legs and starts to walk. This is some kind of Crab I think. in a very different shell than I'm used to. I decide to go say hello to this little creature of the ocean and wish it the best and brightest happiest blessings.  I get up and walk over very slowly as to not scare it. I find in my pocket a small sack of Tuna i pull out some and set this small amount of tuna in front of this little crab and hope that he will eat this easy meal. Ocean life I know is hard on all the creatures that live in it as the Ocean is a vast variety of all kinds of creatures that is at it's most wild.  This little Crab ducked inside it's shell when it felt my foot steps but now.... It has come out to look at this very strange land creature is only what i can imagine what it thinks I am. I know that the Creatures of the land must seem strange to even the most balance of Ocean animal who can walk on land too. This little crab is wonderful it has on claw that is really big and Black the other one is Small like he has just recently lost one and has this one growing in it's place. The little claw is very bright blood read. He has eyes that are outside the shell and on what look like little tubes wobbling around looking at me. When it finally smells or sees the food offering that I have given it he takes a tenative step forward then ducks into the shell again. I just sit there and watch him he is so facinating. A few minutes later he pops out and makes a mad dash to the food I set out for him just another inch or two till he was there anyways. As he gets there he ducks inside his very nicely decorated home again for just a minute till he knows I'm not going to try and pick him up. Then he pulls the Tuna toward him and starts to eat. I tell him my Thanks and Blessings and stand to walk away. He just looks at me as I walk away.

 Just a short ways down the beach I find another shell very empty this time. a very old looking shell. Now I'm no expert but it looks like a very very old almost petrified Tadpol triton shell. I pick it up and smell it. OH that wonderful smell I love so much is so strong on this shell it is still wet. I think it was tumbling around in the ocean for some time and only recently came on shore. 

A seagall just caught some breakfest only a short distance way out in the sea there amazing when they dive into the ocean waves only to bring a fish up and out of the water with them in there beaks. I love this feeling of pure freedom that I get when I'm next to the ocean the Vibrant energy that makes me feel so alive is what I'm thinking as I stair out across the sea surface again. I am always so amazed at how much good the ocean can do for ones soul but all the damage it can do to as a natural force of nature, It can be destructive too. 

I walk over to the water and let the waves roll over my feet up to my ankles. Wow it is so Cold i wouldn't want to swim in the ocean right now. But oh it does feel so good on my feet and ankles. This wet cold salt water is all a person needs to feel the most alive they have ever felt in there life. 

I decide to start walking again this time I keep my eyes on the Horizon out in the distance over the ocean surface I don't want to miss seeing anything that maybe happening out in the ocean when I walk right into someone. OH Harry nice to see you here I didn't expect you. His warm comforting eyes look straight into mine and tells me that He isn't here to give me a job just to be my company on my day at the ocean. He asks if I would let him walk with me. I sigh and Whisper I would really enjoy that. We start walking He stays Quiet watching the peaceful experession on my face that I know and can feel there. 

I look down at my feet only to find that i almost stepped on another seashell. I hand him the Seashell bag and bend down to pick it up. This shell I know I have had one in my bathroom for many years it is the same kind of shell that i got as a child form my trip to the waking world ocean beach in lincoln city oregon.This shell is called a Saul's Murex. This one isn't as big as the one i have in my waking reality however it still is talking to my soul and is beautiful. I jesture for the bag back from Harry he hands it to me and I carefully place this shell in the shell bag along with the others that I have collected. 

We continue walking when he askes what I like the most about the ocean? I look at him so he recognizes I heard him and am not ignoring him as I consider how to put it into words. When i finally start talking I tell him. It is a feeling very hard to describe but the best way to tell you what that feeling even begins to feel like mind you this is an understated description, I feel the world is at total Balance and Peace when I'm on the ocean's beach I feel more alive and vibrant when in the presents of this massive body of under world life. I am mezmerised by the Rythmic ocean waves and find that my soul feels so much better in the healing energies this place puts off. I can't describe it much beyond that without trying to say the same thing a million different ways that never quiet make the cut for how The ocean truly makes me feel. I tell him. Please understand there are no words for the way this place is perfect for me or why it is so. 

Finally as the sun sets with the most vibrant colors of Blues and Purples, Pinks and Oranges with wisps of Reds I walk toward the edge of the beach and go back to my waking reality where I only wish i could spend more time always. There is just never enough time on the ocean.

Two Tree's Meditation

Well I did the Two Trees Exercise and I very much enjoyed it. I found the Hill was full of Golden Wheat. The I decided to roll down the hill like a child would as I haven’t done that since I was but a child and never without getting sick. As I rolled and rolled I found myself having a great deal of fun lots of Joyous laughing insued. I then got to the bottem where I landed in a patch of Long soft grass. I layed there looking up at the sky found that it was a beautiful Stary Night in the phase of the New Moon.  I thought to myself how close the stars look to me here as if I could just reach out and touch each and everyone of the Thousands in the sky over head. I found myself uncontiously reaching up to see if  I could do such a wonderful thing. I found that they really where to far away for this trip to the Otherworld maybe next time I will have Wings and can Fly up to them to touch them but as Playing in the stars isn’t my Journeys Destination I think that is why there out of reach tonight. I then hesatantlly got up from this very soft grass to walk to the wonderful trees I had seen beyond the lake. I started slowly walking as I didn’t want to miss any thing along the way Not a single Bird chirp or a wave of breezy air. I then got to the Most amazingly Crystal Clear Blue Lake I have ever seen. Not knowing if it was ok to swim in as many magical Lakes are often times a Forbidden place to swim for Human kind. I decided to have a bit of fun while giving an offering of that Joy to the Lake Spirit. I decided to Skip one Solitary Flat perfect skipping rock into the depths of the lake I figured I would be able to skip the rock here even though I had never skipped a rock in the Waking Reality of my Life. Well I picked up the Rock that Magickally appeared out of nowhere right beside my right bear foot. I assumed the Rock Skipping postion and as I felt my hand release this perfect rock I saw it fly through the air and hit the water, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump. That was Nine times it hit the water to my amazement. I found that to be the most beautiful and Amazing thing that I had ever done anywhere. Oh how I feel so incredibly free here. Then I continued my Slow canter to the trees taking in every bird song and Whisper of the Wind and all the insects buzzing around me.  This world feels so alive and Vibrant it is wonderful. I finally made it to the trees. Where I was met by my Guide Harry who walked for a while with me. We walked till the Sun was shinning the most wonderful colors on the horizon all the Golds and Pinks and Purples and Blues. Wow this is better than any rainbow I had ever seen. Defently puts some of the sunsets to shame in my Waking world. He told me that my Job was to find Harmony in my soul and to do this I had to Organize my Thoughts and Emotions and put them in a well defined Order. I had to basicly clean my head and heart of all the chaos and clutter. I asked him how do I do such a thing I have such a hard time with keeping my Physical Life organized.  He told me to Find inner peace and not let things bother me while doing the task at hand. I told him that I have been trying to find the inner peace and harmony that I had once had and had found that I had lost for so long now. Would he set me on the right direction to finding that again. He told me Remember the Wise teachings of the worlds healers like Budda, Dalai Lama, Gandi, and the other teachers that have been sent to my world to restore the balance and Peace that My Waking world was so in need of.  At that point he told me that I was needed back in my Waking world and to keep my task in mind always. This is a tough job but it has to be done. He then walked me back through the amazingly large trees and I found my way back to the hill where I came back to my Waking world.

With Spirits this realm we do share. 


Ancient ones Speak in our ear,

Seasons Turn

Round and round we go. 

Years End and Years begin.

As the Seasons turn we find Winter ends.

Winter with her Cold chill in the air and Snow covered Mountains begin to though that Hibrinatory Frost.

As Winter looses her Grip on the Earth Spring Starts a new with Budding Leaves of Green, Flowers begin to bloom. April Showers Bring May Flowers thay do say. In Like a Lion out like a Lamb we do find the weather always on the Move while all life begins to stir from it's Winter Slumber. OH To see the Morning do on the Rose buds all so New and Fresh beginnings are as a breath of fresh air in our lungs. As Spring Rolls on Summer begins his Song, All the world is alive and full of Movement. Dear are grazing, Birds a singing. We see all Life in Full swing as The days light grows longer for all Life to bring all things into Fruition. As the Summer Wains the days grow shorter out time is almost through to harvest all that was planted. Move move must finish all that we started in the Spring. Autumn is on it's way this we must not delay get the land ready for Hibranation of our Summer time is short. The warm Sun is tired and finds the sleep more and more as the days grow darker and darker still. As Summer Wains and begins the New Autumn the Days and Night grow ever colder with the Missing Light. The harvest of the Feilds and Meals are all most over. We must find time to think on our year gone by as the Autumn will linger Nigh to long so with a song in our heart we find we begin to long for rest and slumber as does the Light. Long nights and Short days remind of the depths of our souls to which we gaze. Sing that gentle song and remember Spring is on it's way. All Life will start a new.
