Government Rant.

Wooooo, Boy do I need to Vent So this is my first page in the Blog of Violent Shadows. I'm going to be stating things in this post and any other Blog of Violent Shadows that is not for the faint of heart or Empathicly Sensitive. This is your Warning from here out I will not Warn you on any other post in this Label.

I got a letter from The Department of Social and Health Services that was sent out on January 15th,2010 I recieved it a few days ago.  

Here is what the Letter says.

Dear Medicaid Clients:

Effective Febuary 1,2010 the department will no longer cover Tens units or the supplies for use in the home setting. This service may be paid for through an Exception to the Rule(ETR) request. Please work with you physician and vendor to request the ETR as there are specific terms that need to be included with your request.

Exception to the Rule is a prior authorization process used to consider the appropriateness of a non-covered item when that service is specifically needed for that client because there clinical needs are so different than the rest of the population. If you have questions about the process please feel free to call our Customer Service Center at 1-800-725-1790.

This decision will be changing your Health Care benefit. This benefit change is in responce to an evidenced based medicine review conducted by the Health Technology Assessment Clinical Commitee(HTACC) and their decision regarding coverage. The Department has reviewed this decision and is implementing their recommendation per RCW 70.14.080 through 70.14.140 and WAC 388-501-0055.

That is what the letter says verbatem. I would like to call your attention to the fact that the phone number to the Customer Service Center doesn't work.

I find this very suspicious and I called a number given to me by my Worker at the Company that provides my Tens unit and supplies which is 1-800-562-3022. I was told that Empi the company that is my supplier is supposed to get a form called 13-882 on Monday Febuary 1,2010 which is when this takes effect. Now mind you I was told that is when the form would be going out that isn't saying that my worker will have it that day. Now my biggest Beef with this is first the government tells it's clients that if you have any changes at all in your situation you have to let them know withing 30days. They also normally give the client a 30 day notice of any changes that are being made. Well not here so everyone is scrambling to figure out what exactly is happening like a chicken with it's head chopped off. I'm frankly tired of the government screwing around with my health insurance. First they covered my Advair inhalors now I have to remember to take 2 inhalors instead of the one. As they now cover Seravent and Flowvent as a Substatution and I can't get the same strength anymore. Then there is the fact that they stopped covering the name brand Ritalin that I am and now I take a watered down change of recipe called Metholin or Methlyphenadate. Two names for the same Drug. Then there is the fact that the Insurance used to cover 2 dental trips a year now I can only go see my dentist one time a year and have it covered, Stupidity at it's worst with all the recent discoveries about how important a persons teeth are to there over all health. This issuance wont cover a Peak Flow meter either which is a meter that shows an asthma patient how there breathing is.http://www.webmd.com/asthma/guide/peak-flow-meter

This is info for you on what a peak flow meter does and how it is used. I use the tens unit to control massive cronic pain from Tortacolis and Fibromyalgia. This treatment is working and is safer/better for my health as I'm not popping so many pain meds that can kill my organs. I also don't get any prevenative care either. Isn't it cheeper to prevent that have to constantly treat conditions after they occure. Then why is it that they don't do that. No wonder the health care/SSI health system is in trouble they aren't spending money wisely. I'm getting tired of the bull shit honestly and that is what it is if you ask me. I think it honestly goes hand in hand with the current situation in the white house. I think if that Government run health care bill goes through the entire nation is going to have this kind of Shitty Health care that Medicare and Medicaid get from the Government. I'm so tired of the Government getting involved in my health care already and if that Health care plan is Approved then it will only get worse. All of you people don't have any idea how bad it is now. This is only a small chunk of my story with Medicaid. I have a whole lot more where this came from. If you are put on a treatment that isn't specificly approved for a certain problem but it seems to be working in your case like Oh lets say, you have Seasonal Effective Disorder as well as Periodic Leg Movements which is like Restless Legs Syndrom and you are sleeping 20 hours a day because you can't seem to stay awake and have done Sleep studies and There isn't really anything for PLM out there and there is nothing but Anit-Depressants out there which give off bad side effects. Well Ritalin was working for me on those accounts I was also on another ADD medication called 

Strattera 

this was in concert with the Name Brand Ritalin works wonders for all the things that where causing me to sleep 20 hours a day as well as my very tiny attention span as I do have Adult ADD. Well the government first came along and told me that I couldn't have the Ritalin do to it not being approved for the PLM that my specialist perscribed it for then after i got my councilor to refer me to my family practioner as she couldn't write perscriptions her self she told me to have my Fam. Prac. to write it out for Depression and Anxiety which I do have as a OCD patient. Well that was all good. However then the government came in and took away the Strattera saying I couldn't have 2 Class A ADD/ADHD/Depression/Anxiety meds. But they were working so well I am still frustrated over that situation as there was nothing I could do to get the Strattera back. Then they came in and told me that the name brand Ritalin wasn't being covered anymore that i had to go to the generic for Ritalin. Well they tell you that it is the same thing when accually it is a whole different recipe just with all the same ingrediants in it. Now I can't have the Name brand Advair 50/500 I'm now on Seravent 50mcg and Flovent 250 do those numbers add up in your head? As they don't make the same number as the Advair was at 50/500. Not to mention Serevent and Flovent are also Name Brands how does this even make any kind of Sence? I don't get it why pay for 2 name brands instead of one. Well guess what they don't work as well as Advair did. I've tried for the exceptions via my doctor writting for a Do not use a Generic. I can't get the pharmacy to figure out that I'm supposed to be on the Name brand Ritalin on both perscriptions. I call in to have the Ritalin Filled and they Fill the Methalin instead. So there you have it I don't get any of the care that really works only the care that half Assed works. I hope all you people who support the Government Run Health Care Plan take note of the trauma I've been through with the already in place Gov. Run Health care.  What on earth makes you think that the Plan proposed is going to be any better. Honestly Look at how many pages there are in it. How many rules and regulations that go along with it. It was said that it would be optional and it has become manditory in how it reads. If this goes through every individual in America will be going through this same kinda thing. No some may say that Well those on DSHS and SSI are just Leaches off the Gov. and the Tax payers. I can tell you I have tried to hold a job but hummmm. Lets think this over. 

I got layed off of Silverwood theme park employment do to having Heat Triggered Seizures on the Corkscrew and while doing grounds keeping. 

I Can't Drive First I wasn't taught then there is the Seizure thing to consider so that counts Driving a Go Cart in the parks and Rec Services kinda employments. It also counts out Pizza Delivery and Mail Service employment.

Then I'm an Asthmatic so that counts out working in a Greesy Kitchen of McDonalds and other Food type Jobs. 

I have the attention span of a tea spoon so that counts out any kind of telephone work. I also have learning disabilities that have been since my birth as I had my brain deprived of oxygen when I was born do to having both of my lungs collapsed at birth amongst other things that went wrong.  So that takes out the idea of going to a traditional college and doing anything that has math involved or even any kind of job that has to do with a till/register. 

What is left Not a Damned thing so Am I REALLY leaching of the Gov. and Tax Payers. I think Not. So that mentality of people who live off the Gov. are all just leaches doesn't hold water here and I don't want you to comment well your just a leach. 

Well now there is the arguement from those same individuals who would call me a leach about me being a Massage Therapist. I've had 2 Wrist surgeries to have a Ganglionectomy done and headed for the 3rd one at the end of Febuary or beginning of March. I can't do Massage anymore. Besides the average Length of a Massage Therapists career is 5yrs before the body has broken down so much that they just can't do it anymore. So 9 out of 10 LMP's don't even renew there license after the 5th year. How are those for Odds. If you ask me they Suck.  I also hate the fact that I'm am one of those stats.

So where does that leave the people who would call me a Leach. So you all know it took me 5 years to get onto SSI do to Not being paralysed or something of that magnatude. I have Lots of little things that add up to make it so I can't work and that made it hard to prove my disability was worthy of SSI. So there you all have it I hate the gov. being involved in my health care but there isn't much I can do about it. 

However you Do have a Choice Contact your Politicians and tell them where to shove the Plan that our Whitehouse Staff has got in the works.

January 25,2010 Reflections

Well I have been keeping the Blog for a few days now and I'm finding it to be very freeing in a sence. I haven't spoken what is on my mind this much in probably my whole life between my blog. and my reconnection with my father I have been doing alot of Blunt straight out in the open speaking. It is a very freeing experience to be honest almost addictive in a positive way. I to be honest have remembered to blog daily, when i don't seem to think about and remember to write in my journal daily I find that just facinating. I think it is because I'm always on the internet and it is the homepage and so I see it and just do the blog where as I don't think to much about my journal which lives in my task bar area.

I would like to take a minute to tell you that the Favorites sections to the left of the blog posts aren't necissarily in the order that they are my favorites. I have a hard time picking them as my Number one favorite so I've always just lumped into a favorites catigory so I don't have to choose. So you ask me what my favorite color is and I will probably tell you something like Blue Black Red Purple or in other words all the colors of a bruise. However most people who see my home would tell you that Blue is my favorite color as it is the most abundant in my furnishings. But I wear mostly Black Clothes. So how do you firmly pick your favorite when it so heavily depends on the situation at hand in clothing it is black and in furnishing it seems to be blue and the other colors just catch my eyes. See why one could have a hard time choosing there favorite of anything.  Maybe my brain just makes it harder than it has to be which I know it does but I think there is some logic to the things said above. 

Well I've been playing World of Warcraft for some time now Since August of 2009 and have finally gotten my primary character to lvl 30 she is a Elven Hunter. Then I finally got one of my Secondary Characters to lvl 10 she is an Elven Rogue. My third character is only at lvl 9 and i created her just after I started playing WoW. I have had my lvl 10 for about a week now and lvled her up to lvl 9 in less than 24 hours. I like the fighter classes I'm finding out. They seem to get lvled up quickly. But that doesn't surprise me I'm an Aries they are the natural Fighters and Surviors of the Zodiac.


 I was up late last night talking with my Father and learned alot about my history that my mother was less than honest and accurate about when she told me about that stuff. I found talking to him very refreshing he learned more about me last night and in the time of 1 weeks time than my mother has ever known of me in a life time. She couldn't even tell me who my favorite band is let alone the kind of person I really am on a moral level. My Father We will call him Jerrod for sake of  privacy has learned and related to me in a much deeper way than my mother ever has. I am getting straight honest blunt answers from him and it is really easy to open up to him as he has lived a very simular kinda life as I have. My best friend Ireland calls the kinda people that we are Street Angels the ones who have lived more of there lives just trying to survive than accually living there lives. I was able to tell him things that would terrify most people beyond messure or have them commiting me to Eastern State Mental instatution for psych treatment. He was very open and reseptive to what I had to say. All I can say is Finally a Parent I can freely and openly talk to without having to worry about reprocussions to what I've had to say. I must say that getting to know my father has been a wonderful experience so far.

The Sabboth

Well Today is Sunday which is the Sabboth day, I have now gone to church and come home, I learned a wonderful saying today. The Relief Society Teacher told us that Faith is allowing your soul to go beyond that which the eye can see. I think this is a wonderful definition of the meaning of Faith. She saw that saying on a reader board for a local auto shop called the Golden Rule. I just had to come on and share that.  I think this is a good time to give all of you a way to learn more about my beliefs I'm going to provide a link to a site that the church has provided to help you get to know the Basics of our Faith. http://www.mormon.org/mormonorg/eng/

Here all your questions should begin to be answered. I would like you all to know that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Book of Morman is true and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Restored Church. I know that After what we in the church know to be called an Apostacy Periods of time where Humanity has fallen away from God and the Gospel. After one of these periods of time Joesph Smith Jr. was chosen to be a Propet in this What we call Dispensations where the Gospel has been restored to the earth after having an Apostacy. I know he was chosen of God the Father to Restore the Gospel and the one True Church back to the earth.  I know these things for sure as I have had confirmation in my Soul through promptings of the Holy Ghost. I know there are some weird rumors out there about the LDS, However my only advice to you is that you find out for yourself if they are true read the book of Mormon the restored Gospel and then Open heartedly and with a Open Mind pray to the Lord and ask him if what you have read is true. I think if you do that you will see that I'm not totally wrong in knowing what I know of the Book of Mormon and the LDS church and Joesph Smith Jr.

I hope that you at the very least would check into the church as it probably will be a life changing experience and when I say life changing I don't mean in a bad way.

Now you may have noticed in my post of things about me that I have been to A LOT OF CHURCHES in my day so many I don't remember the names of all of them I've attended 2x or more. You should also have noticed that there is a wide variety of churches. Baptist, Presbetarian, Non Denominational, Lutheran, North American Baptist just to name a few. I have done my research and I will tell you there is no other church out there with scriptures so consistant or so complete. There is no other church out there Like this one If you give it a true and honest chance it will be one of those pivital moments in life that can not only save your soul but also change your life by filling your life with Abundant Blessings unlike any other church I've ever been to can or does. If you think about what you know of the Bible how on earth does it make sence that We were created in Gods image that there not be a heavenly mother and that God has a Body of Flesh and Bone, That Jesus Christ is his Son who has his own Flesh and body and the the Holy Ghost has a Seperate body of his own that they are 3 distinct individuals. I can tell you that Matthew 25 it says something to the effect of For God so Loved the World that he Gave his only Begotten Son. Well doesn't that scream 2 different people not just one. There are other scriptures that scream the same thing but others of the christian faith don't have the Great and Precious peices that have been lost in translation and Wars and other assorted things that have caused parts of the bible to go missing. The fact that Joesph Smith Jr. was called to restore the gospel of it's missing Great and Precious Parts that have been lost over the centeries, We in the LDS Church have those parts and we know why it sounds like in some places that God the Father and Jesus the Christ and the Holy Ghost seem to be 3 people yet are also refered to as being one in the same. They are one in purpose and 3 distinct individuals who have individual bodies of there own. We where created in gods image so that being said almost imediantly in Genesis why wouldn't God the Father look like a Man as we know a man to look like. Why if there wasn't a Mother in heaven that God is protecting would Women be so entirely different than  that of Man if God didn't have a model to make woman after. As he said We create Man in Our Image thus that is Plural people. Not Singular. The truths that are in the Book of Morman Logically and Sisinckly put the obsurity of the bibles text into Very reasonable and Logical order and prospective so the bible accually makes sence. Just think about it, Go look at your bible and Critically tear it apart and ask the logical questions like the things above. You should also check out

1John 4:7 it accually talks of 3 in heaven who keep record

John 10:16 talks of another Flock (Meaning the people of North America think about it why would Jesus go to just one continent and spread the message of Salvation and leave the others out?)

Then there is what we call the Plan of Happiness or the Plan of Salvation in 1 Corthians 15:40-42 Check them out and ask yourself the hard questions Analyse it and tear the bible apart using Logistics and see how much of it doesn't Logically make sence if Man was created in Gods image why would he have some kinda obsucure logic that we as HuMANS can't understand the fullness of. Why would his brain work so differently that we can't follow his thoughts through logic? Well this isn't ment to be a Puzzle everyone this is ment to save our souls and be plain and precious in how our salvation is to work. The Bible just has been Tampered with so much over the Centuries intentionally or unintentionally because of Language barriors.

Here is a Example of that In the current english bible it says Thou shalt not suffer a Witch to live.

Well in the original text it was Thou shalt not Suffer a Murderer to live. Why would God order something that would cause such a Mass Histaria and Mass Murder of inocent lives in the Witch Trials. He wouldn't but I think everyone would agree Murderers need to not be allowed to live amongst the population so either you don't let them live in society via the Life Sentance or you give them the Death Penalty, Right that isn't going to cause the Pain and Suffering that the Mistranslation of the word Murderer did.

Then there is the mistranslation of the Word Fear in the context of Fearing God. It originally ment to look at him with Aww and Reverance somebody to look up to and Love with all your heart. To be thankful for. But some how through the ages it was translated into Fear. Why would you think that a God who loved the world that he gave is only begotten son to pay the price we can't ever pay and give us a way to Salvation. Why if he did that why would you even begin to believe that he would want you to Fear him. In the way of quaking in my boost and running in terror kinda fear. To me it doesn't make any sence, What do you think? I think God is a God to be Loved Not FEARED. FEAR is of the Devil not God or Christ. Well I know I can get off on to tangents where I stand on my soap Box when I feel something passionately. This is a subject I'm very passionate over. These are the Basics of our belief System. I hope you find them to be interesting as it is Article of Faith 11 and 13 that allow me to flow Wicca and Christianity into a cohesive working way of believing. I really Challenge you to give the LDS church a Honest and true looking into as it could change your Live for the better.

I think if you do this you will at the least find I'm not totally Mental in how i beleive. I can tell you that there is always the encouragement to try and test things for yourself they are always telling you to not take there word for it find out for yourself. That same thing I will echo and encourage you to do as well. I have told you what I know so Go Forth and Concore and find those answers to all those little and Big questions about Life. 

Well I think for now I'm going to go and do stuff. A nice relaxing Bath sounds good or maybe watching the Goofy Movie by Disney sounds fun as well. Good wholesome entertainment geared to either my own spiritual rest and relaxation or toward the family and the features of straightening the bonds within the family.

At the above link you can find any of the printed matterials that the church uses and has put out like the scriptures our Seminary study guides (Oh and for the Tea issues you should check out the D&C seminary Study Guide on section 89:9 it will tell you that you aren't to consume Mind altering and addictive substances. Do your research on White and Green Tea and the process it goes through in comparison to Black and Oolong teas. You will notice the Process for Black and Oolong tea cause Furmentation of the Tea Leaf of some kind that is where the differences is so come to your own conclusions on that matter as I have I wont mention how I feel on the matter either way. Just lead you to a way to study it over in your mind and find answers to the debate on this matter. Remember In all things the is Moderation and balance so Don't be to Fanatical or to Risky as Elder Bednar of the Quarum of the 12 said to the question about tea posed to him in a youth Fireside in Spokane Valley Wa on October 17,2009. Walk the middle of the road in other words not on either extreme.

A Bit About Me

A Bit about Me
Well As you all can see my name is Faith Silverwolf(No Silly that isn't my Given Name)
I'm Old enough to know better and young enough not to care.
I have 3 cats and a rabbit as my Companion/Furbabies living in my home.
I have a boyfriend named Myles he is a real sweetie even though there are days I wish murder was legal as on those days I would probably kill him if it were. I think that is something that most people feel about the opposite sex from time to time.
I live in a 1 bedroom apartment at this point in my life. I'm a Book worm to extremes.
I'm a Disabled Individual since 2004. I started at Apollo College for Massage Therapy in December of 2006, I finished School in September of 2007 and became a completely certified LMP in April of 2008. As I have had 2 surgeries on my left wrist I don't exactly do massage therapy as a career or a job. I live on my disability. I am headed for a 3rd wrist surgery at the end of Febuary beginning of March. I've had 2 Ganglionectomies and that is what I have to have done again. 
I am a practicing Wiccan/Witch and I also am a Baptised LDS member as of the year of 20001 making me a Christopagan. I am currently enrolled in the following online seminary schools.

I'm currently taking a bit of a break from the work loads as they are all self paced courses that I am taking. 
I am the oldest of all the Children in my family which is layed out like this
Mother Married my Dad then Divorced him in 1991 after having one Son my Half Brother. 
In 1991 My mother was with another man who in 1995 became my step father he had 3 children. 2 boys and a girl of which I'm the oldest of this whole lot of kids.


Then there is the Father I didn't have when I was growing up as a child. 
I finally found my Biological Father back in I think it was 1999 or 2000. I was with a man named Jeff whom I did marry and in 2001 divorced. In that time about 3-6 months after I found my father we lost contact again. At the time he was Unmarried but had a Girlfriend who had a daughter and a son. 
I have just recently come back into contact with my Biological Father who is now married to the girlfriend he had in our first meeting. Now I have several ways to contact him and we should not loose contact again. His wifes children also are younger than I am. So I am doomed to always be the oldest child. But Hey I guess it isn't always all bad. 
I have a boyfriend that lives 2 doors down the hallway from me we first met collar me . com where for the life of me I still can't figure out what a Virgin was doing in a BDSM site. Well at any rate the first letter was passed to him from me in December of 2006 we had our first face to face meeting in Febuary of 2007. We have been together since in a somewhat complicated relationship that fits the site we met on. (NO I'm not the Sub!)
I moved out of my mother and step fathers house in 1989 I was 18 and well I have only moved in with them one time for less than a month since that time during my divorce. I also lived with my mom's first husband for a time at that same point in my life. However that was short lived as well. I have lived on my own with or without roommates since that time. 
I have had a vast variety of Jobs up till the point I was put on SSI, I did Telemarketing inbound calls only. I also did Security work for our local Arena and The Gorg at Gorge.
I also did Fast food and convinent store work. I also did something most people will never be able to say they have done in this day in age. I was an Exotic Dancer at a local bar for a while, I was also at the time of that Job attending 3 different churches. A Baptist Church, A Presbeterian church, and the LDS church on any given sunday. (No it wasn't to compensate for my sining for a job.) I was trying to find who I was at the time and what church I liked best was a part of that. I did what I could find for work and having a very well endowed chest lead me down the road of Exotic Dancer. Now I want to clear something up right here and Now. I was an Exotic Dancer I didn't have Sex for Money that is a Strippers job by definition they are the Wores that work the streets as well as dance. No one was allowed withing 10ft of me while I was on stage I also had something covering the nipples and my crotch. So there was a Hands off Policy at that Bar I worked at. I'm not a Slut in other words I just did the job I was able to get in order to pay rent on my studio apartment that I had at the time did what was necissary to keep a roof over my head no matter how bad.  
Of all the Stupid Crazy things that I have done in my life which does include Dating a Sex Offender and having been pregnant and Miscarried his child. I'm not a Slut I have only ever had sex with 3 men and my current boyfriend isn't one of them. 


So now that that is cleared up you can see that I have lived a very eventful life. I refuse to live with my mother for very long as we don't get along well we never have as there was abuse in my child hood. I know she loves me but with love like that I didn't need enemies you can get my Jist hopefully. I don't want to down talk my Mother to much as she was a product of a disfunctional family life in her younger years so this is probably all that she knows in the way of showing how much she cares. 
Well on another Note I have a best friend form high school her name is Ireland she is basicly as good as my Sister and her mother has accused us of fighting in our past like an old married couple. I have to disagree there we fight like Twin Sisters if you have ever read David Eddings Polgara the Sorceress you will see or know what I'm talking about. Polgara and Belderan fought pretty much just like me and Ireland have in our past. It is funny she decided to go back to church and yes she is LDS as well she is the initial reason that I joined the church. Well within a couple of weeks to a month I decided without her having told me she had decided to go back to church that I also was going to give it a try again after having had a bad experience with the Bishop of the young singles ward. He told me to get rid of my Service Cats that where papered and documented so even an apartment complex who didn't take animals can't tell me no based on the fact that I have animals.  So if a Apt. Complex can't tell me to get rid of my animals why would I let a church even if they are paying my rent? What did they think I was crazy or something? I still don't know what was going through that Bishops head at the time in telling me that but I decided to give it another go. After I had told Ireland she told me she thought that was just uncanny as she was now going back to church and had been for a few weeks. Well she also lives almost 100 miles way from me. So I didn't know she was leaving her house for 3 hours on sunday. I couldn't go visit her as neither of us drive we rely on our boyfriends for the transportation needs to be filled.
Well I think I've said about all that needs to be said at this point in time about who I am other than maybe what a few of my favorite things are.

My favorite food is Dunky Sandwitches with is a French Dip with Hamburger instead of roast beef is all. 
My favorite memories are of the Oregon coast right on the beach at the D'Sands Hotel.
My heart lives in the ocean that is my favorite place on earth as well.

Well got to go work on cleaning the apartment somemore for the section 8 housing inspection I have comming up got to get into all the nooks and crevousis like under the fridgerator and stove kinda cleaning. 
I'm also all Aries I have Aries in my Sun Sign and My Moon Sign and My AC sign as well as Sagitarious and Leo in my chart as well I have the other elemental signs as a Minimum in my Natal chart. I also have Scottish and Irish and Swedish and Native american in my blood so it makes for a very Emotionally charged individual. So here is your warning about the Fireworks that may come out in this blog.
